The annual 2014 Manufacturing in America featuring Technology Tip-Off event hosted over 2200 attendees from over 500 companies, offering over 100 technical seminars, 50 hands-on exhibits on two trade show floors. This year's event not only focused on controls, automation, and manufacturing but this year added a knowledge track and exhibits focused around plant/facilities managers and energy consultants. There was no charge for this event, but registration was mandatory. Some of the attendee's feedback from the event? "The most beneficial aspect of the event for us were the interactions, new technology demonstrations, and experts in the field who were there and meeting new future companies and ideas". Along with the technical seminars and exhibits, the hosts of the event made sure to include some fun including a golf simulator, field goal kicking with Detroit Lions great, Eddie Murray, and an evening of networking.

Siemens and Electro-Matic joined executives, technology leaders, and innovators in the manufacturing industry to explore how technology is driving a manufacturing resurgence in America.
Following their presentations were a panel discussion moderated by Jeff Green of Bloomberg News.
Electro-Matic Products and Siemens presented two days with nearly 100 technical seminars, over 40 different vendors on two exhibition floors, which included one-on-one discussions with top industry experts, networking opportunities and fun at Ford Field.
Technology Tip-Off's Technology Transfer Event had a breadth of seminars at this year's event. If your field was Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Facilities Management, Energy and Sustainability, Plant Maintenance, Plant Safety, or Operations we had free seminars available for to enhance knowledge of the latest technology.
The Technoloy Tip-Off was sponsored by International Technology Companies that are leaders in their field. Technology Specialists from each of these companies presented hands-on demonstrations of their latest innovations and value propositions. This unique trade fair allowed attendees to have a one-on-one discussion with an industry expert and the opportunity to discuss their needs in the implementation of technology in the workplace.
On Wednesday from 4-7pm Rittal sponsored a successful Networking Reception in the main atrium, which came after a live broadcast of WJR's Frank Beckmann show. Other event activities included Golf and NASCAR simulators, a bracket contest, Field Goal kicking on the turf, and more!
