Comcast Lobby Attracts Tourist Attention with Unilumin Video Wall

Corporations are getting more aware of the advantages of cutting-edge LED display technology, which provides seamless ultra-clarity, high brightness, longevity. And lobby installation is one of the best ways to maximize their influences. Unilumin has successfully completed many important lobby installation around the world and helped corporations to spread their value.

The Comcast Experience

The Comcast Experience calls the lobby of The Comcast Center home. Featuring 10 million pixels, the 2,100-square-foot screen is one of the world’s largest 4-millimeter LED continuous video walls, providing free, year-round programming for the public with no ticket required.

Holiday Spectacular LED Upgrade

Every holiday season, The Comcast Experience in the Comcast Center lobby in Philadelphia becomes a destination for families, tourists, and tech enthusiasts alike. Anchored by a massive LED video wall, the annual Comcast Holiday Spectacular has delighted audiences for years with its immersive imagery and seasonal storytelling.

Situation

In partnership with Comcast and creative lead Niles Creative Group, Unilumin had the privilege of delivering a transformational LED upgrade — turning the already iconic display into an even more vibrant, cutting-edge digital canvas for holiday and year-round content.

Objective

The existing LED wall had served its purpose for more than a decade, but as technology evolved and the lifecycle of the previous panels approached its end, Comcast sought a solution that would:

  • Deliver significantly higher resolution.
  • Withstand continuous public operation.
  • Accommodate a more dynamic content arsenal.

Unilumin’s challenge was clear: create an LED solution that wasn’t just bigger — but better in every measurable way.

Solution

Unilumin designed and supplied a custom Uslim2.6 LED wall for the Comcast lobby spanning approximately 85 feet wide by 25 feet tall, totaling over 27 million pixels — more than triple the pixel density of earlier iterations. This upgrade achieved a true 8K-plus visual surface ideal for ultra-realistic imagery. Key advantages of this solution included:

  • Seamless ultra-high resolution image quality that brought holiday content and everyday visuals to life with stunning clarity.
  • Enhanced brightness and contrast, optimized for the ambient light conditions of the bustling Comcast Center lobby.
  • Improved energy efficiency and operational reliability, critical for a high-traffic installation running up to 18 hours a day.

The result: a stunning installation that not only supports traditional festive storytelling but also functions as a year-round digital art installation.

Integration and Collaboration

To bring this vision to fruition, Unilumin worked closely with:

  • Niles Creative Group, who conceptualized and produced compelling holiday and perennial content.
  • Analog Way and Picturall, whose media servers and processors fed the display with bandwidth-intensive 8K content.
  • Comcast’s technical and facilities teams ensuring seamless integration with the existing architecture.
