Disconnects

This is an open transformer with a box attached to the top of it. These units contain all UL and CSA marked components, and have a range of options to customize to your requirements. Available with 500VA to 3KVA transformers in an wide variety of voltages.

This style is one of our long time “work horse” products and have been providing this style for over 25 years.

Built in a rugged Nema 12 enclosure, with mounting capabilities on the back as well as on the bottom so it can be wall or top mounted. Available with 250VA to 3KVA transformers, a variety of options, voltages and receptacles, including universal receptacle for global compatibility.

This device mounts to the side of your enclosure, and can be ordered with or without a door interlock, left or right side mounting, dependent upon your application. We have taken away all the time and frustration of measuring where and how to mount these, by supplying a template with each unit for drilling locations for both the disconnect and the door interlock. Model dependent, 65kA or 100kA SCCR for class CC fused disconnects, and up to 200kA SCCR rating for class J fused disconnects, and are UL, CSA, IEC and CE marked.

We worked hand in hand with Ford Motor to design a transformer disconnect that not only supplies AC power, but 24VDC power as well. The AC transformer can be 1K, 2K or 3KVA, and the 24VDC can be 10 or 20 amp. The AC transformer is mounted in it’s own vented enclosure mounted on the top of your control cabinet to keep the heat out, while the disconnect, fuses, DC power supply are mounted in either a Nema 1 enclosure to mount inside your cabinet, or a Nema 12 style to mount outside your control cabinet. Designs include North America, as well as global voltages. Many models are approved and marked cULus.

Electro-Matic Integrated can offer customized application dependent knife blade disconnect switches, saving the time and money of assembling different options in the field. Available in 30, 60 and 100A versions, we can add things like aux contacts, plugs, receptacles, cabling etc. These custom disconnects are approved by Ford.
