When Kalahari Resorts & Conventions opened its expansive indoor waterpark in Round Rock, Texas, the goal was to create an entertainment destination unlike any other. To contribute to this experience, Unilumin USA provided their UsurfaceIII Series—delivering a large-format LED display designed to become an integral part of the attraction.
The Challenge
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is built around creating memorable experiences at an extraordinary scale. Its indoor waterpark in Round Rock, Texas, is no exception.Within the waterpark’s family wave pool, Kalahari saw an opportunity to create something different: a digital experience that could become part of the attraction itself. The challenge was to transform a large architectural surface into a dynamic entertainment platform—one capable of engaging guests while complementing the energy and excitement of the wave pool.
The Solution
Unilumin provided the LED technology to bring that vision to life. The UsurfaceIII Series was selected for the installation, creating a large-format LED display that serves as a visual centerpiece within the wave pool environment.
Rather than functioning as traditional signage, the display becomes an extension of the attraction. Dynamic digital content can fill the space with movement, color and entertainment, creating an experience that connects the physical and digital worlds. The result is a striking visual destination that gives Kalahari another powerful way to engage guests.
